The food is simple and good value and the bar has a great atmosphere. Some live informal music from time to time. Bar’d Up— Rue de Moulin Big screen TV—All the main football Matches great place for a drop in drink Le Garage The biggest discotheque in Chamonix with the best international DJs. Look out for really late night pole dancers and lingerie show.
And……. Southbar (Swedish), Cybar, La Cantina, , they are all really cool and funky, perfect to make new friends.
Le Choucas is one of the interesting bars in Chamonix. - Really cool with the two video walls showing Extreme Sports, Skiing, Snowboarding and Roller Blading. This is great to watch whilst chatting after a long day Hiking or climbing

Bar du Moulin is great or try The Office or Le Tricouni which has great atmosphere, and cheap brew. Try ... The Ice-Rock. A venerable night club with the back side of a 63 Cadillac sticking out of one wall. Try the Samoyed for good American style hospitality.
Restaurants: There’s something to suit every palate. Many restaurants offer local specialities from the Savoy area.

Le Pitz don’t let the name put you off. Whilst known for it’s great pizzas, it is also somewhere the Locals like to eat because of the authentic country cooking specialities. Just next to the Saturday morning market - great for lunch. |
