Turn left and then very SHARP RIGHT... Sign to FRANCE  (Turn right lane is also a bus lane)

Follow signs for the A40 and Chamonix. You need your passport handy for passport control.Road Tolls   €1. 6 0 & €3. 5 0  (Clear signs all the way from this point)

You will soon pick up road signs for Chamonix Mont Blanc.  After about 80km, you will go over a viaduct into the Chamonix Valley (on a clear day you can see Mont Blanc) the first place you should look for is Les Houches.  You will see a Petrol Station and the Courte Paille restaurant on the left hand side. After the second underpass you will shortly see the Brown sign for the Bosson Glacier

The Large brown SIGN on your right, points to The Mont Blanc and Bossons Glaciers and just after you see the Mercure Hotel on the right hand side, follow the diversion (deviation) signs taking the slip road on your right.  At the T Junction, turn left and then immediately right.  It may look as though you are going back onto the main road, but this road runs parallel with it.  At the top, there is a new road (goes over the main road) Turn Right on to Routes des Rives. You will see the Creamerie on the left (blue building) Turn left. into Route des Praz d’en Bas. continue following Les Songenaz sign.

There will be a sign off to the left for Chamonix Centre, next to the recycling bins.  Ignore this and keep on the road to the end and you will see a double garage in front of you.  Just before this, there is a 90 degree sharp right hand bend.  As you start to go up the hill, look out for the sign Les Songenaz about 20 metres on the right hand side.
